Enhanced Login Security offers an additional layer of security beyond your Wings ID# and password; it identifies the computers/browsers you use to access CU Online, and provides a secure way to log in to CU Online when you are not at one of these computers.
Federal regulations require that all CU Online users register for this feature.
If you are not enrolled in Enhanced Login Security, you will be prompted to enroll the next time you log in to CU Online. If you have set up Challenge Questions in the past, but do not remember your answers, you may change your entries at any time:
- Click "User Options" in the left navigation bar
- Select "Challenge Questions” and follow the on-screen instructions
About “Challenge Questions” - Challenge questions allow you to access your accounts from unregistered computers, or when you have forgotten your password. We recommend resetting your challenge questions, just in case you have set them up in the past, but may have forgotten the answers.
- Select "User Options" again, then select "Enhanced Login Security"
- Select "Add extra security to this computer" from the provided options or "Remove extra security from this computer" should you need to remove it for any reason.
Steps 3 & 4 should be repeated for each browser and/or computer you use to access CU Online regularly (except public computers). Otherwise, you will need to answer your challenge questions each time you log in to CU Online.
