The credit union's Bill Payer program, a product from CheckFree®, is one of the leading bill payment programs on the market. Experience the convenience of paying your bills online. Bill Payer is quick and easy—no stamps, no paper checks, no envelopes, and easily accessible from within CU Online.

Bill Payer is FREE with a minimum of 3 bills paid per month. If you pay fewer than 3 bills in any given month, a fee of $5.95 will be assessed for that month.

Enrollment

Enrollment in Bill Payer is simple. Any member who has access to CU Online, and an active checking account to pay bills from can enroll in Bill Payer. To obtain a CU Online PIN or open a checking account, please call Member Services at 1-800-692-2274, option 2.

To enroll, simply click on the Bill Payer link in the left navigation bar, and follow the step-by-step instructions. If you have problems enrolling, please call Support Services at 1-800-692-2274, option 5.

Bill Payment Scheduling and Payment

Many payments can be processed and paid on the same day or the next day. An online calendar tool helps you schedule your payments based on the earliest available payment date. The due date you select is the day that the funds will be received by the vendor/payee, and it is also the day that the funds will be deducted from your account. However, for four days prior to the due date, the payment will be labeled as "pending" and you will not be able to modify the payment at that time. CheckFree processes payments twice per day at 1:00PM and 1:00AM EST. Payments that are processed after 1:00PM are considered next day business.

Important Note: If sufficient funds are not available in your account when the payment is scheduled to go out, your account will be overdrawn, and you will be charged an ACH insufficient funds fee for each item.
