The Nominating Committee of Wings Financial has placed Mark Photiades and Jo Ann Harris into nomination for the two seats up for election in 2021.

Wings Financial Board of Directors – Board Chair, Governance Committee Chair, Finance Committee Member

Mr. Photiades has been a member of Wings Financial Credit Union for over 20 years. He currently serves as Chair of the Wings Financial Board, Chair of the Governance Committee and member of the Finance Committee. He previously served as Chair of the Finance and Credit Committees and as a member of the Governance and Supervisory Committees.

Mr. Photiades is retired from the travel industry, most recently working at Apple Leisure Group. He previously worked for MLT Vacations, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines and provider of Delta Vacations. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management and Flight Training from Daniel Webster College, along with a Commercial Pilot Certificate. Mr. Photiades previously served on the CUSO (Financial Services) Board from March 2003 – January 2005.

Wings Financial Board of Directors – Board Vice Chair, Governance Committee Member, Credit Committee Member, Supervisory Committee Member

Ms. Harris was a long-time Volunteer with City-County Federal Credit Union (CCFCU) prior to its merger with Wings in 2010, and played an active role in that merger. She began serving Wings in 2010, starting with the Supervisory Committee. She was first elected to the Wings Board in 2015 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and as a member of the Governance, Credit and Supervisory Committees.

Ms. Harris works for Hennepin County, Minnesota as a principal financial analyst. In this role, she is responsible for the coordination and management of Hennepin County’s $2.4 billion budget. She served on the Board of Pillsbury United Communities where she was Vice Chair of the Board and is a past Treasurer of the Minneapolis chapter of the National Council of Negro Women. She is active in women’s and workplace diversity organizations throughout the Twin Cities and is committed to financial empowerment for all individuals. Ms. Harris is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
