Ms. Rath has been a long-time Wings member; her tenure as a Wings Volunteer began in 2006. She currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Wings Financial Board, Chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Governance Committee. She is a 30-year veteran of the airline industry, starting her career with Northwest Airlines in the revenue accounting area before later managing the global reservations area.
With her wide range of experience, Ms. Rath was an integral resource during the Delta/Northwest merger. She continued on with Delta Air Lines until her retirement in August 2014. In March 2016, Ms. Rath accepted the position of Managing Director – Customer Service Recovery at American Airlines based out of Dallas, Texas and is now the Vice President of Customer Experience and Reservations.Ms. Rath graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a degree in economics and the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a master’s in business administration.
Mr. Miller began his tenure as a Wings Volunteer in 2015. He currently serves as a member of the Wings Financial Board of Directors, being elected in March 2019 and as Chair of the Wings Finance Committee and member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Miller was named the President and CEO of Dakota Electric Association in 2001 after serving as Executive Vice President of Operations.
Prior to his tenure with Dakota Electric, he spent 11 years working for the Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative in Jordan, MN as a member of the senior management team. Mr. Miller is an active member of the Apple Valley Rotary Club. He also participates in the local Chamber of Commerce, along with a variety of volunteer work in his community.
Mr. Miller graduated from Mankato State University where he earned a degree in both Computer Science and Business. Since graduation, Mr. Miller has continued his education at the University of St. Thomas and Carlson School of Management, focusing on leadership, strategic planning and negotiation.
