As a member of Wings Financial, you can establish your small business checking account with us. The credit union offers flexible account options featuring limited fee structures to make financial management easy and cost-effective.

Your Business Must Meet the Following Criteria To Be Eligible:

  • You, and all other owners of the company on the account must be within the Wings Financial field of membership
  • Your account must be kept in the complete business, organization name or your professional name
  • Special signatory requirements (i.e. two signers) are not available

Your Business or Organization Can be Structured in One of the Following Ways:

  • Sole Proprietorships
  • Partnerships
  • Corporations
  • Associations
  • Limited Liability Companies

Business Checking Account Options

Business Checking I requires a minimum balance of $1,000 to avoid monthly service fees. If the account falls below $1,000 at any time during a statement period, a $5 monthly service fee will be assessed. No dividends are paid on this account. Monthly service fees are based on the checking statement period. For credit union account with either Business checking I or II (described below), a Partnership Agreement or Articles of Incorporation must be submitted to the credit union upon opening an account.

  • $.25 cent fee assessed per check cleared
  • No deposit per-item fees
 

With a Business Checking II, a $12 per month fee allows you unlimited check writing privileges with no minimum balance requirements. This account does not earn dividends.

This is a personal account that allows you to do business as (DBA) your respective company allowing easier management of finances. You must have a DBA registration to use this account. There are no minimum balance requirements, per-check fees, or monthly service fees.

A certified copy of your DBA registration must be supplied to the credit union upon opening your account, or your full name must be part of the company name. This account does not earn dividends.

  • $250 minimum opening deposit
  • No deposit per-item fee
  • This business checking account is limited to 30 transactions per month.
 

Non-profit organizations, comprised of the individuals eligible for credit union membership can open a checking account under the organization’s professional name.

  • No deposit per-item fees
  • No monthly fees
  • Dividends paid on balances of just $10 or more
